Patronal Festival 2013
On Sunday 21st July, the day before St Mary Magdalene’s Day, we celebrated our Patronal Festival. The choir sang Schubert’s Mass in G, accompanied by a small orchestra, and the Archdeacon of Hampstead preached.
Later on he commissioned those to administer the chalice, and presented RSCM awards to choristers who had gained white badges, and red or blue ribbons: marks of good progress in the study and practice of church choral music. Uniquely, perhaps, he also presented the Fusball trophy to Jameson Horlick, who, coached by his father James, have won the national championships. Many congratulations to them!
