Universal Credit: Understanding the new landscape

An interactive and practical training session for all Diocese of London parishes, on how the benefit changes will affect the communities that we serve & how the church can respond.

Universal Credit is the biggest change in the welfare system for generations.

Over the next 3 years, it will affect about 600,000 people in the Diocese of London, both working and out of work.

...bringing up children on a low income?

...on low pay or zero -hours contracts?
...unable to work due to illness or disability?

Capital Mass are offering an interactive and practical training session about Universal Credit to every parish in the Diocese of London.

It will cover how the changes may affect people, and how the church can respond. This will be informal session with plenty of time for questions and discussion.

It is free and open to clergy, volunteers, workers - all welcome.

As ever with our events, we promise good coffee, tea, cake and snacks.
