There's always plenty to join in with...
The Bell RingersBell Ringing Practice on Tuesday 7:45 pm - 9:00 pm.
The Care & Prayer GroupThis group meets monthly and members are always available after the Sunday Parish Communion.
The ChoirThe choir practises on Thursdays from 7:30 pm - 8:30 pm in the church vestry. If you are interested in joining the choir please use the form on the contact page or simply turn up. Young people are particularly welcome and will receive a free musical education.
Coffee MorningsMeeting once a month, on the third Tuesday, to help raise money for our Organ Fund.
The Drama GroupThis long established repertory theatre company produces two shows each year, as well as being involved in other Parish events. The performances are always a sell-out and include murder mysteries, comedy, intense drama and a ‘summer workshop’. The members are all highly committed, the sets well constructed and the performances slick and entertaining.

The group meets on Wednesdays in the vestries at 8.30pm.

New members are always very welcome.
The Fellowship GroupThis group meet on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at 2:00 pm, it enjoys a varied programme of events with occasional outings to places of interest.
Flower ArrangersWe are a small team of flower arrangers and do arrangements throughout the church year.
The Home GroupMeeting on Mondays, from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm.
RecitalsMonthly Recitals are given on the 2nd Wednesday of each month ay 12:30 pm in the main church.
The Scout GroupWe also have a thriving Scout Group which is heavily subscribed in all sections. Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Venture Scouts all meet at separate times during the week in a dedicated building about half a mile from the church. There are a wide range of activities as well as highly enjoyable 'camps'.

The Sunday SchoolThe Sunday School meets each Sunday, except when there is a family service and during school holidays.

Other ways to get involved

We welcome any offers to join our rotas for:

  • Assisting with Sunday School,
  • Reading in church,
  • Cleaning,
  • Flower arranging,
  • Sidesperson duties,
  • Serving coffee after the 10:00 am Sunday Communion service,
  • Stapling the Parish Magazine together.

Social Activities

We run a wide and diverse schedule of social events throughout the year such as quiz nights, “feasts”, talks, summer BBQ, family picnics and day trips.

A week-end retreat is usually organised every other year for study, contemplation and fellowship.

Our vicar Gordon organises pilgrimages regularly, again aiming for every other year. In the past he has led us to The Holyland, Jordan, Turkey, Egypt, Spain and Oberammergau.
